My TripAdvisor Review - ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary

American Crocodile Education Sanctuary or ACES was located in Punta Gorda Belize. A fire destroyed the entire facility. The news reports told a story of a group of Mayan Villages had burned ACES or the formal name American Crocodile Education Sanctuary to the ground over 2 missing children that villagers had thought had been taken by Vince and Cherie Rose the owners of ACES. The Roses we in Sane Pedro Belize at the time of the fire.

The story made headlines around the world including CNN. A hardly composed Vince Rose video was posted on CNN. Vince Rose in an emotional voice clearly stated he would find those that were involved. Few words were spoken by Vince Rose about the fact that the two missing children had not been found. The beggining of my Croc Cronicles Review of ACES.

Now my version of a TripAdvisor review about American Crocodile Education Sanctuary or ACES goes like this. For almost 6 months I spent time at the Roses facility that they were attempting to develop into a Tourism destination. Out of 27 acres of Jungle Vince and Cherie Rose carved out an amazing property. They both new little about tourism. I worked with them on a number of fronts, building the web sites http://americancrocodilesanctuary.org/ I helped plan events and working with the local Punta Gorda Belize Tourism board aimed the Roses in the right direction to begin accepting guests at American Crocodile Education Sanctuary.

Further to that I also invested with the Roses to open a Liquor Store in Punta Gorda which was named Adiforous Wines and Liquors. With the help og the San Pedro Sun Newspaper in San Pedro we launched and promoted Adiforous Wines and Liquors with help and support of the San Pedro Sun Newspaper in San Pedro. My wife Janis and I had owned a Liquor Business in Sane Pedro called the Liquor Box.

My review version of a TripAdvisor review  of ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary goes like this. After my wife Janis died the relationship with the Roses eased much of my pain of her death. However only 7 months later I found myself attempting to collect the $37,000 I invested in the Liquor business which they closed or sold off the inventory.

And the $10,000 I had donated to build a lagoon at the ACES facility on behalf of my wife Janis. The lagoon was used to house the crocodiles that the Vince and Cherie Rose captured throughout Belize. The Crocodiles are then returned to ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary to spend there lives in a sanctuary. George the most famed of the ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary crocs I helped capture and fund much of the cost to transport George the croc from San Pedro Belize back to ACES in Punta Gorda.

ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary then took civil action against me in Belize Courts stating in the claim I owed them ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary $15,000 for the time I spent at ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary as if I was a guest. The Roses continue to raise money on line for donations for ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary and are attempting to build a new Crocodile facility in another location in Belize.

Would I say my version of a TripAdvisor review of ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary would not get a 5 star rating.

My name is James Fredrick Jensen I am a Canadian that lived in Belize on the Island of San Pedro, this is another chapter of my Novella about the time that past after my Wife Janis Died in Central America.
