After meeting the Roses on this crocodile hunter

This chapter is part of the series called “About Vince and Cherie Chenot Rose”. Vince and Cherie Chenot Rose lived in Punta Gorda Belize a small town on the southern tip of Belize. The Rose’s owned a small resort and Crocodile Sanctuary named  ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary.

I met the Rose’s on the Island of San Pedro two weeks after I had placed my wife Jan’s ashes into the Ocean as part of her services, more so it was Jan’s request to be cremated and set off to sea. Jan and I owned a small Liquor Store, sometimes bar, sometimes wholesale business called the Liquor Box.

After meeting the Roses on this crocodile hunter they were on the Island of San Pedro I was invited to come to Punta Gorda and see there resort and to explore the idea of opening a Liquor store in Punta Gorda with the Roses as partners.

The now third day and second night at the ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary in Punta Gorda Belize found that night like the first filled with screaming, eating beast howling all night. Vince and Cherie said they did not hear a thing each night.

This is now my final day before I should get back to business in San Pedro. The Roses and I sat and talked about roles each party would play in it. How much money would be needed to finish the building and to decorate and stock the now name Liquor store Adiferous wines and Liquors. Cherie and I came up with the name walking around the crocodile sanctuary that morning.

We agreed I would put in the cash needed about $50,000 belize. We agreed I would wire $10,000 Belize from my Belize Bank account to the Roses Belize Bank account in Punta Gorda. This was never going to be a business like Jan and I had in San Pedro with the Liquor Box. It could make money.

Back to the Island of San Pedro I flew on Tropic Air. I had some anxious times during the flight. Going home to an empty house without Jan and still dealing with problems with the health insurance company while Jan was treated at the hospital.

Lets say no coverage at all from Bupa Health care out of Miami. No help from the Roe Group in Belize City that sold Jan and the Policy through there insurance arm RF&G Insurance of Belize city.

Our trusted US attorney Robert P. Martin of Bailey and Wyant PLLC was working hard to force some resolution from Bupa in Florida. All of these thoughts caused me concern about the Croc Liquor Store idea. How many things can I handle with Jan.

My name is James Fredrick Jensen I am a Canadian that lived in Belize on the Island of San Pedro, this is another chapter of my Novella about the time that past after my Wife Janis Died in Central America.
