My name is James Fredrick Jensen I am a Canadian that lived in Belize on the Island of San Pedro, this is another chapter of my Novella about the time that past after my Wife Janis Died in Central America.
This is another chapter of the series called “About Vince and Cherie Chenot Rose”. Vince and Cherie Chenot Rose lived in Punta Gorda Belize a small town on the southern tip of Belize. The Rose’s owned a small resort and Crocodile Sanctuary named ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary. It is now mid September and Vince Rose called me to let me know they were coming to San Pedro for another Crocodile Capture. A big Croc someone had named George who was being fed by tourists on the Island. Actually it had turned into a real San Pedro Belize tourist attraction to come to the Island of San Pedro and have a guide take you to feed a 14 foot Crocodile. The Belize Forest Service had asked ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary and Vince Cherie Rose to come to the Island of San Pedro and capture this Croc. I met Vince and Cherie at the San Pedro AirPort and got them settled in the small home they owned in San Pedro. This was a small house Vince had converted into a apartment unit type rental property. That night we had diner at one of local hang outs and talked about the plan to capture this 14 foot crocodile name George. Vince had brought with him Sargent Smiths buddy Sanchez another cop from Punta Gorda. I felt better Sanchez had a gun at least. After diner we loaded up and headed to the Lagoon this croc was known to hang out at. Upon arrival George had a number of girlfriend type Croc’s watching big George. For those who do not understand about Crocs, shine a flash light across the lagoon and count the red eye balls looking at you. Okay George had many girlfriends. Back to the heart of San Pedro drink more and wait till sunrise to catch George. An hour before Sunrise we are at the Lagoon with Vince throwing a Chicken on a rope into the Lagoon. Splashing the water I have been told attracts Crocs. Not long after this like a creature from the black lagoon George appeared and just played with the chicken on the role. Vince teased him and George for the most part just walked on the beach. Vince did that Steve Erwin Croc Hunter top rope thing. Vince now had a role on this 14 foot monster doing that famed Croc Death Role. We all jumped on this thing when he stopped rolling around and restrained this fat over fed crocodile. With George subdued we called around and invited everyone to see the trophy. Tamara from the San Pedro Sun did a video of all of this stupidity. As the You Tube Video shows the capture and loading of George onto a flat bed truck for Transport by boat to Belize City and then Vince and Cherie Rose long drive back to Punta Gorda.
