Did Robert P. Martin string my client along ?

Next question:  Robert P. Martin, why do you dress like someone more familiar with the preparation of balloon poodles than with the ethical conduct of an officer of the court?

This is part four of Diana Bond's series of questions regarding the case of James Fredrick Jensen.  He is a Canadian who lived in Belize, where in 2009 he was robbed and wrongfully remanded to prison through the actions of WV attorney Robert P Martin and Belize residents, Vincent and Cherie Rose. They continue to hunt him.

The next question is why did Robert P Martin, of West Virginia law firm Bailey and Wyant PLLC, drop the ball in my client's case against Bupa Insurance?

First here's the background.  James' wife Jan died in 2007 of a brain aneurysm.  Unable to receive proper treatment in Guatemala City, she needed life saving intervention in the US. Though the insurance was fully paid and coverage guaranteed through the terms of the contract as signed by James and his wife, the insurance company refused coverage for the urgently needed flight to and treatment in the US.  As a consequence, Jan died.

Add to grief, the pernicious inaction of Robert P. Martin.  While James worked with his Belize lawyer on the lawsuit against Bupa Insurance, Martin claimed that he had filed documents for the case against Bupa in Miami through attorney Bill Thompson.  No such filing ever took place.  The result was a ruling by the Belize Supreme Court in a judgement against James for the health care Jan received.  The judgement was in excess of $250,000 US.

Next question is:  Why did Robert P. Martin string my client along for months saying that documents had been filed in Miami, when they had not?

Another question:  Was it because Robert P Martin knew that without that filing the Belize court would have no recourse but to rule in favor of those bring a lawsuit against James?

Answer is yes.
