San Pedro Sun Newspaper Belize: Poor Reporting

I know the publisher Tamara Sniffen who owns the San Pedro Sun Newspaper very well. Tamara was at a time a close and trusted friend, she read at my wife Jan’s Funeral Service in Belize on the Beach of Ambergris Caye on the Island of San Pedro in Belize. My name is James Fredrick Jensen I lived in Belize for a number of years.

The San Pedro Sun is in financial difficulty with mounting accounts receivables and what now appears to be more Tabloid news Reporting then Journalism. With over $125,000 in receivables the San Pedro Sun Newspaper is in trouble and has been for sale for some time.

What I find most concerning is how Tamara Sniffen uses the San Pedro Sun Newspaper as her own personal weapon against people she dislikes and for those she loves Like Vince and Cherie Rose of American Crocodile Education Sanctuary. In my case as James Jensen Tamara turned on me and used he meager little NewPaper in San Pedro to get even for some strange reason.

In the case of the Roses and American Crocodile Education Sanctuary she has adorned Vince and Cherie with more then un fair amount of news coverage compared to any other media source in Belize. All Cherie Rose has to do is wash her hair and Tamara write about.

I am sure unlike myself and many other who have donated money to American Crocodile Education Sanctuary Tamara Sniffen has not give the Roses a penny. Tamara know the truth about my relationship with the Roses. The fact that I invested into a Liquor business in Punta Gorda with the Roses. And the Roses closed the Liquor Store sold off the Inventory and kept the money.

Then the fake posting on the San Pedro Sun Visitor Guide by Cherie Chenot Rose. Claiming to be Vince Roses Sister to keep the bloggers going. Then we have the latest tabloid reporting by Tamara Sniffen about John McAfee.

Tamara what professional reports do is something you need to start doing it is called proof of story. Investigate that is what newspaper reporting is all about not about who you are mad at today. See the John Mcafee excerpt from the San Pedro Sun Newspaper.

John McAfee, the on-the-run from the police/anti computer-virus pioneer has swallowed the attention of the local and international press, but in Belize he is simply wanted by authorities for “questioning” in the murder of his neighbor, Gregory Faull. Faull was found dead on the morning of November 11th, but according to Police Press Officer Raphael Martinez, until McAfee can be questioned, the murder investigation has “stalled”.

With police claiming that he might be able to shine some light on to the investigation, the calculating and media savvy McAfee gave Belize the slip and fled to Guatemala well over a week ago. Now headed to the US, we may have lost the chance to bring McAfee in for questioning. One has to wonder why it was so hard to locate the man when all the while he claimed to be in Belize, with rumors of him even being at his house here on the island.

As local authorities claimed they were scrambling to solve the murder of Faull, islanders, as well as “people in the know” accused the Police Department of “dragging their feet,” not only slow in solving the crime but in locating McAfee. Some claim that the “good relationship” McAfee maintained with some of the senior officers within the Belize Police Department resulted in a half-hearted attempt to bring him in.
