What color is yellow? Tamara Sniffin: San Pedro Sun Newpaper

This is part six of Diana Bond's series of questions regarding my client, James Frederick Jensen.  He is a Canadian who lived in Belize, where in 2009 he was bilked and unjustifiably remanded to prison through the actions of WV attorney Robert P Martin and Belize residents, Vincent and Cherie Rose.   They had help in victimizing my client, including Tamara Sniffin.

This time my questions go to Tamara Sniffin, editor and publisher of the San Pedro Sun, Ambergris Caye Belize's oldest newspaper.  It is the Island Paper and Online News Source ill-serving San Pedro Ambergris Caye Belize.

Tamara Sniffin, why did you publish a story March 26, 2009 about James' remand to Hattieville prison for allegedly cheating Vincent and Cherie Rose of $50,000 when it was not true?

How is it that your newspaper had the story written and ready to go before the charges were made public?  Was it Godfrey Smith, former Belize Attorney General, and legal representative of the Roses, who tipped you off?

Tamara Sniffin, why did your newspaper not report on my client's complete discharge by magistrate, April 23, 2009, of all charges involving the Rose's allegations?

At the very least, in the absence of a follow-up story reporting on James' innocence, why did your newspaper not reprint a retraction?

Further, why does your newspaper keep within its online archives a photo of my client and story of his arrest?

What was your gain in breaking so many principles of responsible journalism?

As you know, there is a convention in journalism which holds that  spelling someone's name incorrectly puts the accuracy of the story in doubt.  Why would anyone trust what you publish?  Tamara, congratualations, your newspaper is now of international interest.

After numerous attempts to have the story and image of James Jensen removed from the online archives of the San Pedro Sun, the newspaper continues to malign my client and his reputation by keeping this trumped up story available to the public.

Another question to the editor/publisher of the San Pedro Sun is:  "Why don't you do the right things:  a) print a full account of James' innocence in this matter and the court records backing that up; and b) remove the maligning information about him from your online archives.  What are you hiding?  What are you afraid of?

My final question to Tamara Sniffin:  What color is yellow?
