The news media continues to enjoy and cover the exploits of John McAfee from Miami Beach Florida. Last weekend John McAfee was enjoying the hospitality of the accommodations offered by the Guatemala Immigration Department. A far safer place then what was waiting for McAfee in Belize.
John and I e-mailed for two days last weekend while he was detained by Guatemala Immigration. While I will not disclose the content of the e-mails it was John McAfee. I had asked a series of question of John which only John would have known the answers then we e-mailed each other.
While John McAfee’s Story or Hoaxes may appear strange it was in fact a brilliant media strategy. We discussed this throughout the e-mails. One point is clear to me John McAfee is in Danger of Belize Authorities. That the corruption within the country of Belize is as John has portrayed the situation. Out of Control.
My situation with Belize is different then John McAfee. I obtained my freedom through bribes, to the level of the Supreme Court Judges in Belize. Even while John McAfee does not know my entire story in an e-mail over the weekend John offered me help if I wanted it. He wanted a computer which started the string of e-mails. One which he obtained for his last sunday video broadcast. Always the show man John is that.
Now in Miami John McAfee will have some difficult choices. While John claims he is broke well that is the right media strategy to keep the story rolling. His investments and property in Belize if anything is left at this time will be of little value to be sold. The Government of Belize will find a way to keep these assets from John.
John McAfee has opened a door that the news media should enter and cover the corruption in Belize. John and I talked about having the media make a surprise visit the San Pedro Jail or the main Police station in Belize City. That coverage alone would assure the world that John McAfee’s claims of what was awaiting him were true.
The Queen street Police Station in Belize city is a case of the worse human rights acts one would expose a human to. No beds, stand up all night so you are not sleeping in urine. No food, bathrooms a pail in the corner of your crowded cell that might have as many as 30 men in it.
If John would have been remanded you have to understand in Belize I can go to the Police and say “this man robbed me”. You are remanded into custody and sent to Hattieville Prison. Considered the 3rd worse prison in the world. The past Prime Minister Musa sold the prison while he was in power.
Then the issue of Belize with Human Trafficking. The Jem of the Countries Tourism industry the Island of San Pedro has 21 bars within the downtown area. An area which is about 4 blocks wide and ten block long in total. These bars one in front of Belize Bank and one by the Belize Bank parking lot offer young illegal girls for sale. Girls that have been Trafficked.
John keep the story going, lead the media to find out what is going on in Belize.
